SAMXT Tourniquet

We want to give you options. While the SAM XT is not our first pick, it is a great device that has its merits, especially for people who know they will lose performance under pressure. We go through all the tourniquets we sell in our training program but the broad strokes for the SAM XT are as follows: 

The SAM XT (Extremity Tourniquet) was officially released in 2017 by SAM Medical, a company known for innovative emergency medical products. It was developed in collaboration with SAM Medical founder Dr. Sam Scheinberg, an orthopedic surgeon and former U.S. Army physician. 

The SAM XT was designed to improve ease of use and consistency under stress by incorporating autolocking technology—a key innovation aimed at reducing slack before windlass application, increasing first-attempt success rates, especially for non-medical personnel. 

We sell this tourniquet with a soft and rigid case and locking belt clip. Our trainers can come with or without the holster combo. They are slightly more expensive than the CAT and our price reflects it.
