CAT TOURNIQUET

Never buy a tourniquet from random people on the internet. There is a saying that if it seems to be good to be true, it must be too good to be true. This is fitting for random counterfeit tourniquets on the internet. The CAT gen 7 is the most popular tourniquet on the market and because of that, it is the most copied tourniquet. Unfortunately, they are inferiorly made and can never be trusted to anything but the LARPers or costume party gadgets. We have tested dozens of imposters, and they all fail the tests. The worst time to find out saving a couple bucks didn’t work is when you need something to work the most.  

We only sell our life safety tourniquets in HI VIS or EMS orange. No tacti-cool devices here. We follow the life safety rule with life safety equipment. Our tourniquets come with both a soft holster and a rigid holster with optional molle/belt clip for your choice in carry. Our soft holsters come with a free pair of mini trauma shears to cut the clothing before applying the tourniquet. You choose where to hold your shears if you use the rigid case. If you are restocking your supplies, you can request a tourniquet without carry device. 

We sell all of our available tourniquets in trainer blue as well. Blue is the accepted color for training equipment in emergency medicine. This should signal to you that it has been applied to someone already and should never be trusted in a life safety situation. Though we never say never, visual identification is one of our mantras. We have studied human performance for years and visual exclusion, auditory exclusion and tactile sensation are the things that we lose first under high pressure or stress. Function over fashion is the only way we train.
